Everything but the dew claws were healing really well. Booper needed staples in each area the dew claw was removed and also some antibiotics and OF COURSE the ever popular white cone! He's getting there. Should be able to play ball by next weekend. 2 and 1/2 weeks of soft food and no ball...he should be a happy boy at that time!
Hi Mare,
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweet Booper face!!...glad you are taking such good care of him after all that he's been through!
My family group has had many dachshunds throught the years and now I dog sit for Nina, my aunt & uncle's pooch, when they go to Yosemite every summer. She's a smooth red coat and reminds me of my grandparents dog - Ginger - when I was growing up!
Can't wait to hear about ball time :D
I love the song too - Karen Carpenter's Bless the Beasts and the Children! She's a very favorite of mine - what a voice!!

ReplyDeleteOh I have to learn how to post a pic of my dog Max. He is such a look-alike to Booper! What a sweet face... Thank you for the update!

ReplyDeleteThanks so much for the posts. BB, they are fun aren't they? Our "own" dachshund is a red, finer boned weiner dog. He's getting used to Boop.
ReplyDeleteAnnie, thanks for peeking in..good to see you here!
