Well I have to tell you, I feel like the Beverly Hillbillies piling all our crap (oops I mean treasured items) into a HUGE pickup and horse trailer..but I guess whatever works...I am to the point in the move where I just want to trash it all, but it is my fiestaware at this point and no way is that going by the way...I am "gifting" quite a few things..was tempted to leave the BIG Christmas cactus of mom's with my daughter for keeping, but didn't know if it would have a way out, so it is in the trailer awaiting the trip...
I think (if all goes well..) that we will pull out in the morning...Will give you some details as I know them..Hoping and PRAYING the weather will be decent...storms and rising water EVERYWHERE...and that is NOT an exaggeration.
Please think some good thoughts for me and send up some fervent prayers for safe travels and safe unloading (no pulled muscles lol)
Will let you know where we are...will have to send updates via blackberry, but it's all good..Ole isn't too sure he's thrilled with the boxes and loading...he KNOWS what comes next...
Have a good day everyone..and be thankful today's not YOUR moving day!!! :)
Mare
Hey I guessed correctly! I can't believe it! Thanks for the happy moment today Mare.
ReplyDeleteOh dear, on you go and I have one more week...
I will be praying for your safe travels. Keep in touch, will be thinking about you and your family.
Hugs, Beth
I wish you the best!!!
ReplyDeleteGood luck with the move, Mare! I don't remember how far you're going, but whether it's across town or across the country, moving is still such a pain! I hate it, and hopefully when we do it again (in about 2 years) it'll be the last time for a VERY LONG TIME.
ReplyDelete:)
Amy
GOOD LUCK. MAY YOU MAKE MANY NEW FRIENDS.ENJOY YOUR NEW HOME.TAKE PICTURES.
ReplyDeleteGRANNY
LOL, MY WORD WAS OFFING. I'M OFFING TO A NEW PLACE TO LIVE. HOW FUNNY THAT WORD POPPED UP AS YOUR READY TO MOVE.
ReplyDeleteGRANNY
Safe trip. Safe unpacking...hugs to Oly
ReplyDeleteKatie
That's a pretty nice looking rig, Mare. Do you have horses? Have a safe trip!
ReplyDeleteWell, Mike took off from the house with the truck and trailer>>>he is headed to our daughter's house (they live about 15 miles away-staying there as we are all packed up) I am going to vacuum and take a bath and then head over...(ole is going over with me).
ReplyDeleteWe are moving about 450+ miles Amy...ewww...leaving a few things behind..surprise?? no...rather leave than take more stuff with.
I will let you know where we are as we go..prob post from the road tomorrow.
Oh, I did post some more pix in area 51...looking through and found some more (MaryE and her family are there too.)
Need to get moving before I plain fall asleep and don't wake up till tomorrow!
Onward we go...
Mare
oh, LUVS..that is my SIL's truck/trailer...they have HORSES and ride and show, etc...a BIG deal...not me..I'm a dog person lol!!

TG, did you like the horse trailer??
Beth, keep on packin' sweetie...let me know how it is going..
Happy Trails Cuppy cake!!!! Have a safe trip. You have a very happy dad, sister, niece, etc....etc...I feel a sense of calm & ease, knowing you will be closer to me! Kind of like mom will be closer, & that really sounds silly doesn't it! Hope to see you soon, although I know you will be busy (very busy) for awhile! Tell your hubby I said "thanks", again. He is a special brother! (the one I always wished for)!
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful day everyone. I will be seeing dad, making sure he knows little sis is on her way to her new home!
Mare, the purse came and I absolutely LOVE it! Pics to follow today or tomorrow. I had thought I'd wait until you get settled in the new place, but if you want them now, I can do that! LOL Truck and trailer look awesome! Beats a U-Haul by a mile! Loved the pics of your kids! All good-looking and presumably as nice as you! Your son who lost all the weight really looks great. Pass it on. :)
ReplyDeleteMaryE, you and your children and grandchildren are quite a big bunch! Very nice looking family, Mary. So nice of you to see your dad and get him excited about Mare and Mike moving closer! Sounds like this is going to work out real well. I sure hope so and am crossing everything that it does.
Beth, you're almost there! Keep at it, with me there in spirit!
Congrats to all the good guessers on Mare's kid pic!
Katie
And we're off!! Be in ur neck of the woods tgis afternoon. Let u all know where we r.
ReplyDeleteMare
So nice seeing you this pm, even if only for a few minutes! I know how tired you are. Love that little ole, He is one little character. I see why mom loved him so much. Hope you can get a little rest soon. Told dad you would probably come back to see him after you are unloaded & settled a little. Joan took him a bag of 3 muskateer bars this eve, think it was a special trip just for that. thankful for that girl. He was totally out of candy!
ReplyDeleteKatie, I am excited to see your purse! Hope you send a pic. soon. It is fun to see what others enjoy. I do like purses, don't really need them, just like them.
Hope you all have a very good night. believe it is my bed time! Enjoy your new home little sis! Will see you one day soon.
Thinking of you today Mare and Beth! Unpacking and packing. Two jobs that aren't much fun. Just sitting here killing time. Wish I could be helping one of you!
ReplyDeleteMaryE, I sent Mare some pics of my new purse (she wanted them, even though they were traveling! LOL)so when things settle down I imagine Mare will post them. I love purses. I need to weed out my purse collection and give some to the Veterans to sell. Shoes, too.
Good day here. Hope you're all having a good day. Despite the temp thingy saying it's 73 here, it's really 83. But the a/c is on. :)
Katie
Well! I never! My squiggly word was "dingle"! Bwahahaha
ReplyDeleteJust checking to see how Mare the Mover is doing. I'll be back - who said that?
ReplyDeleteBe well peeps.
Peace
Aaaahhhnold said that. I believe it was in The Terminator?
ReplyDeleteGood am. My friends. I have tried to send posts from my phone along the way but it hasn't cooperated so far!! Unloaded abd working on unpacking. UGH. Katie head on over u can help!!
ReplyDeleteDaughter will head out to help next week. Want to paint a bit and SIL is going to help redo some in the bathroom. Will keep taking pics to post when I can.
Need to go get dressed and continue. Its the "tiny"kitchen today.
Oh.. Ole made the trip great. Let's hear it for Benadryl!! He was definitely "mellow" lol
Mare
Mare, it's great to have an update! Thanks! Sorry your Crackberry didn't cooperate on the way out. We would have liked that. Oh well. We'll take what we can get. :)
ReplyDeleteIs your new kitchen tiny? That looked like a big house which would have a big kitchen? I also love to paint. I'm slow but very good. Well that applies to most of my life now. LOL
Beth, how're you doing?? Thinking of you and wishing good things as you wind down the packing...
Amy and Annie, was that the Terminator or the Spermanator? ;) (Annie, are those the kind of jokes you hate on the rossblog? I hope not!)
Beware, Ross has turned Anonymous back on over at the rossblog. Oy and Ugh!
We might go out for a bit this afternoon to hear an acoustic duo and have supper. Not sure. It's real humid today and I'm real blah.
Enjoy your weekend everyone!
Katie
Thanks Katie..I could use another pair of hands to paint. Always complain tone and say that it wasn't so bad!! Am sitting "on" my neck massager. Have a HUGE kink in my neck that is making it hard to do anything (wonder where that is from!!).
ReplyDeleteThe house is bigger than wwe were in BUT is still a "cottage". (Since we all agreed last year that we liked that term!) The basement has usable shower and toilet and a large room AND washer dryer (which I will be putting on the main floor). Living room with bat window , dining room (small) and two small bedrooms and one bath on main floor plus small kitchen of course. Will post before and afters when I can.
Off to take tylenol and unpack more boxes.
Amy for as often as I do this you really have inspired me to settle in to where I am "planted". Thank you. Beth. How's it going?? TG thanks for the email. I SO appreciate it. Annie and LUVS I look forward so much to when u post! MaryE thanks for the "talk" this a.m. And katie...I am saving a paint brush just for U.. How I wish!! Sorry about any and all mistakes!!gotta get back to work.
Mare
MARE, JUST THINK OF ALL THIS AS AN ADVENTURE. THE BEST PART WILL BE THAT YOU AND YOUR SISTERS WILL BE CHUMS. THAT'S A GOOD THING. WHAT I WOULDN'T DO TO HAVE THE SISTER THAT DIED AT JUST A YOUNG AGE BE ALIVE AND HEALTHY JUST TO TELL MY TROUBLES TOO. I'M LUCKY THOUGH RIGHT NOW I DON'T HAVE MANY PROBLEMS SO WHAT WE WOULD DO IS SIT UNDER MY OAK TREE OR GO TO THE BEACH AND GIGGLE LIKE KIDS. MARE,I'M GLAD YOU ENJOYED MY E MAIL TO YOU.SOMETIMES I JUST GO ON AND ON BUT THAT'S ME. SWEET AND LOVEABLE. SID WILL BE GOING BACK UP NORTH IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS FOR MORE TREATMENTS. I'M SO PROUD OF HER. SHE GOT ALL A'S IN SCHOOL THIS YEAR.SHE'S HANDLING HER TREATMENTS AND MEDS QUITE WELL. WHAT A BLESSING IT WOULD BE IF ALL THE CANCER IS EATEN UP.I'VE ALWAY HEARD THAT ONCE CANCER IS IN THE LIVER YOU CAN JUST SAY GOOD BY. BUT THE DOCTORS TOLD HER MOM THEY HAVE SEEN SOME IMPROVEMENT. PRAYER DOES WORK. HELLO GIRLS AND PEEKERS. ENJOY YOUR WEEKEND.
ReplyDeleteKatie - your Arnold joke was funny, made me laugh.
ReplyDeleteMare - don't work too hard, looking forward to the pics of the new place.
Shout Outs to everyone. Have a great weekend all.
Later...
Hi Mare, and all...glad to hear that you have arrived at your new house, and are busy making it a home. I love the term "cottage" too, by the way! If you call your place a cottage, you can decorate with all your junkin' stuff. There are fabulous blogs devoted to cottage decorating! I went to a wonderful dog show today, at a beautiful park next to where the Queen Mary is moored. I am in heaven after seeing 60 beautiful Soft Coated Wheaten Terriers (yep, luvwheaties) today!
ReplyDeleteMare, we are on a 2 year plan. Since the little one and I are collecting survivors benefits from my ex, we are stable right now. But in two years, his older half-brother will stop collecting (he's 16 now) and we'll get a little bit more. So, my plan is to have the van paid off by then (it was only a 3 year loan anyway) and then when our income increases, we can look for a permanent place to live. Right now my kids are in two different school districts, so I want to move to the one where my older 3 go so that all 5 kids go to school in one place.
ReplyDeleteRight now, I'm on a mission to get ready for this show tomorrow. I have the van loaded, other than the table and chairs, but the table is tied up with the quilt that I am trying desperately to finish quilting before morning. I don't know if I can do it or not - if my machine would cooperate, I could have the quilting done within an hour, but that's not happening.
All of my boys are gone for the night - the oldest is fishing with his father (Ex1) and the younger two are with a friend. This is the first time in over 2 years, or maybe even 3, that I haven't had Daniel with me. I'm trying not to freak out, but it's hard. LOL
Have a great night, everyone! I'll post some pictures from the show tomorrow after we get everything set up and ready to rock!
:)
Amy
Good a.m. Think today is painting day. Yeah (when its finished!). Need to go to the next town and pick up some paint.
ReplyDeleteAmy saw u made it to the craft show. How did it go overall? Hopefully good. Beth..r u moving??
I need to go get around so we can get at it.
Hope u r all having a great day.
Mare
Yeah, I made it. And it was terrible. It was so hot, and there was no foot traffic, and after covering my expenses I might have made $0.50 - seriously.
ReplyDeleteBut I have some ideas....and I might be doing another show on Saturday (I should know about that tomorrow). And I did finish the quilt that I fought with all week, and posted a picture of that one too!
Now, it's off to church, and then back home to clean, and then fireworks tonight.
Have a great day!
:)
Amy
CHURCH MORNING AND DO TO WEATHER THEY COULDN'T BROADCAST TODAY. FIRST TIME THAT HAS HAPPEN. I WAS DISAPOINTED BECAUSE ONE OF MY FAVORITES WAS GOING TO PREACH TODAY.SO I'M WATCHING A CHRISTIAN CRUISE WITH AN HOUR OF WONDERFUL CHRISTIAN SONGS BEING SONG BY EVERYONE ON THE DECK OF THE SHIP CRUISING ALONG ON THE WATER LOOKING AT ALL OF GODS'BEAUTY . I WISH I WAS THERE. SO; SO MOVING TO BE WITH GOD IN SUCH A WONDERFUL SETTING. THE GAITHER CUIRE TOUR.
ReplyDeleteHAVE A PEACEFUL DAY AND REMEMBER GOD LOVES US.
GRANNY
SLIP OF THE FINGER AGAIN. SPELLING BUT I'M SURE YOU GET THE PICTURE.HEHEH
ReplyDeleteGRANNY
Mare, so good to hear from you! What colors are you painting what rooms? Please don't tell me white. LOL Good luck.Hope it goes fast!'
ReplyDeleteAmy, I'm so sorry the craft show didn't go so well. What were you selling?
Beth, how are you doing?
Luvs, I bet you were in total Heaven with all the Wheaties at the show! I had a huge smile reading your post. Very happy for you!
Haven't been doing much here. I'm going to have to get out some books or some crafts to get busy. I've been bored and I never get bored. Nobody can fix that but me, right?!
Sunday so we're going to Jeanne's shortly.
Have a good rest of the weekend everyone!
xox
Katie
Well we made it to church... and then I got pulled out of the service to go to the nursery and found out that Daniel had had an accident and was completely soaked. First time in probably 18 months that he's done that. I just have a feeling that he doesn't feel well. :( Of course, I didn't have any clean clothes with me (because he never has an accident) so we had to leave.
ReplyDeleteKatie, I do a bunch of stuff. Soaps, quilts, bags/totes, canned stuff....just a little bit of everything!
I haven't gotten anything done today. Wait, I did do my nails. That counts for something, right?
:)
Amy
I guess it is afternoon! We went to 8am church, had to rush, we overslept. Later we went to a town close to us for a benefit lunch, was very good, steak sandwiches, salads, desserts, etc. I have had a nap, & my husband is off to wash his cloths, since we are still without a washer! Oh which one to choose, just not sure about that yet. Let me know what you all prefer! top load, front load, & a good brand!
ReplyDeleteWell little sis, hope you are painting & that you like it! Bet it isn't white, knowing your daughter! Kind of hope it isn't red. But whatever you like is ok, as long as you like it.
Stayed with 2 granddaughters last eve. I took them to see grandpa, & then we ate at the pizza place in Laurel, after that it was bedtime. Had orders from mom about that, so they moved very quickly!I sat & watched a little qvc (enjoy the beautiful jewely), for an hr. or so before their dad got home.
I will have to take in a craft show one of these days. I enjoy seeing what people can do. Amazes me. I do have one little sis that is very good making totes. I love the one I got!
Hope you all have a wonderful peaceful Sunday!
Oh my!! Have been in town all afternoon. We did get paint. New bathroom sink and curtains, faucet for the kitchen and picked out ceiling fans and also doors for later when we have the pickup. Think I want a new counter top in the kitchen too. Am too cheap to get real granite!
ReplyDeleteOn our way back now and eating popcorn chicken and potato wedges in the cat!! Yum LOL!!
Have a great night!!
Mare
Katie, I went back for another dog show today, and yesterday I went to a winery, so I have had a great weekend! The world of purebred dogs/dog shows is very interesting. The movie "Best In Show" wasn't so far off, although my dog show friends are not as kooky as most of the characters in that film! I like to think Wheaten owners are "normal."
ReplyDeleteMare, it sounds like you are doing some fun stuff to your new cottage. It won't be long before it's nice and homey! Enjoy!
MARE AND MARY, CHURCH SEEMS TO BE THE MAIN TOPIC OF CONVERSATION FOR TODAY. YAY.ONE FOR THE MAN UPSTAIRS AND TWO FOR US FOR GOING TO OUR DIFFERANT CHURCHES. I MISS GOING SO MUCH. TV HAS TO BE MY CHURCH ON SUNDAYS ANYMORE. THE ONE I WATCH IS A UNITED MEDODIST CHURCH OUT OF LARGO WHICH REALLY ISN'T FAR FROM US. I LIKED THE MINISTER SO MUCH THAT IF HE WAS CLOSE HERE IN MY TOWN I'D FIGURE OUT A WAY TO SIT WITH MY LEGS UP.THIS PASTOR IS JUST A PLAIN OLD COUNTRY TYPE. HE HAS INTERESTING STORIES AND KNOWS THE BIBLE INSIDE AND OUT. HE GETS TO THE POINT AND THE HALF HOUR HE'S ON GO LIKE A SNAP. YOU JUST FEEL GOOD AFTER IT'S OVER.
ReplyDeleteI CHECKED MY DAUGHTER TRIP TO KENYA PICTURES OUT ON HER F/B PAGE TODAY. 1200 OF THEM. MY MY MY IS ALL I CAN SAY. ALL I CAN SAY IS I'M SO PROND OF HER FOR WHAT SHE AND THE OTHERS DID OVER THERE. I'M NOT SURE IF I'D HAVE THE GUTS TO GO AND DO WHAT THEY DID. THE PICTURES WERE WONDERFUL. THE CHILDREN WERE JUST THE SWEETEST AND SO WELL BEHAVED. SWEET YOUNG FACES. MOSTLY WITH SMILE AND SOME WITH TEARS. I HAVEN'T HEARD ALL THE STORIES YET. MY DAUGHTER AND HER FAMILY LIVE IN FLORIDA BUT TAKES TIME TO GET OVER TO THEIR HOUSE. WE'RE HOPING TO SEE THEM SOON. I'M SURE AFTER GOING THROUGH THAT EXPERIENCE YOUR NOT THE SAME. SHE SAID WHAT WE THINK OF POOR HERE IS POOR,POOR, POOR THERE. ONE LITTLE LAUGH I HAD TODAY WAS OVER A COUPLE OF THE PICTURES. ONE AFRICAN MAN, VERY TALL AND DRESSED IN HIS AFRICAN GARB WHICH BY THE WAY ARE VERY COLORFUL WAS PUTTING A BEADED NECKLACE ON HER, THEN IN THE NEXT PICTURE THEY WERE HOLDING HANDS AS WAS HER BEST FRIEND WAS DOING WITH ANOTHER YOUNG BLACK TALL MAN. I SAID TO GRAMPS I WONDERED IF HE WAS MARRYING HER IN THEIR CUSTOM WAY OF LIFE. WHO KNOWS MAYBE SHE HAS TWO HUSBANDS. ONE HERE AND ONE THERE. LOL, THOSE PEOPLE WEAR ALOT OF COLORFUL BEADING AND WRAPS OF PRETTY COLORS. ALOT OF THE CHILDREN HAD DIRTY CLOTHES AND YET SOME THAT MUST HAVE BEEN A CHURCH SCHOOL GOING ON ALL DRESSED ALIKE.NOTHING FANCY AND MIX MATCH. BUT SUCH DARLING FACES. CHILDREN TAKING CARE OF CHILDREN. SO SAD. SHE CAN'T WAIT TO GO BACK BUT SHE WANTS TO TAKE ONE OF THE GRANDSONS. MY SON IN LAW WOULD LIKE TO GO ALSO. IF I WAS YOUNGER AND NOT A SCARED CAT I'D GO ALSO. THE WILD ANIMALS WERE SOMETHING.EVERY ANIMAL YOU CAN THINK OF I BELIEVE SHE SAW.THEY EVEN SAW A WILD ANIMAL KILLING ANOTHER WILD ANIMAL.THEY DIDN'T ENJOY WATCHING IT AS IT WAS HAPPENING BUT THAT'S AFRICA.
MARE,I ALWAYS LOVED PAINTING YEARS AGO. I ALSO LIKE WHITE BUT WE WENT WITH A COLOR THIS TIME. ENJOY WHATEVER YOU DECIDE. I'M SURE IT'LL BE JUST LOVELY. WILL YOU EVER BE ABLE TO JUST TAKE SOME TIME FOR YOU? I HEAR THE FALLS A CALLING.
KATIe, I HOPE ALL WENT WELL TODAY WITH YOUR VISIT. KEEP UP THE GOOD JOB.YOUR DAY WILL BE DOWN THE ROAD AND I JUST HOPE SOMEONE IS THERE FOR YOU.
AMY, THE QUILTS ARE SO PRETTY. I'M SURE THEY WILL SELL. YOUR TRIP IS GETTING CLOSER AND CLOSER. I BET YOUR GETTING EXCITED. I KNOW I WOULD BE.
I SEE CICERO IS PEEKING. WHY DON'T YOU COME IN AND SAY HELLO. WE GALS DON'T BITE. WE'RE WHAT THE TEENS WOULD SAY [COOL].
BETH, ARE YOU ALL MOVED INTO MOMS' HOUSE? DON'T YOU SOMETIMES WONDER WHAT GODS' PLAN IS FOR YOU.I BET HE HAS A BIG ONE. YOUR MOM WILL ENJOY YOUR STAY I'M SURE.
LIFE IS LIKE A BOX OF CHOCOLATE. SWEET.
GRANNY
LOV, I GOT SO INTO MY AFRICAN STORY I FORGOT TO SHOUT OUT TO YOU. SO SHOUT SHOUT TO ALL US DOG LOVERS.
ReplyDeleteGRANNY
Hello Everyone!
ReplyDeleteI have had a VERY busy 2 weeks, I think we priced over 400 items for the sale. It was on Saturday and we did very well.We didn't count but I think we had over 500 people come thru my house which was very weird.I had 12 family members and friends help and I needed every one of them. What a blessing they all were to me to give up a Saturday to help me. We are in the end stages of packing and the movers are coming on Wednesday to take all of my furniture to storage. Mentally I am ready, I am just very tired.
TG-YOU MADE A COMMENT ABOUT GOD'S PLAN FOR US.I HAVE THOUGHT A LOT ABOUT THIS AND AM READY FOR WHAT IT IS.MY MOM JUST CAME DOWN WITH A BAD CASE OF SHINGLES AND IS IN A LOT OF PAIN AND IS WEAK. WE WILL BE THERE TO TAKE CARE OF HER AND HELP HER.
Katie-Hi! Hope you are enjoying your new purse.
Luv-my sister's friend was here helping us and brought a Wheaten. She was so cute and lovable!
Amy-your quilts are beautiful. I have been collecting quilts for years. I love the history of them.
Mary-You find the perfect washer and then tell me. I have sold my old one to my nephew and will need a new one when I find my new house!
Mare-I bet the place will shine when you get thru! Have fun creating your perfect oasis!
Love to you all!
Hugs, Beth
Mare, sounds like you accomplished a lot today! That must feel good, even if you're very tired. Are you very, very tired? Do you have your own bed set up at the new cottage yet? Is the Vera Bradley tote a good traveling purse? LOL Just teasing you!
ReplyDeleteLuvs, it sounds like so much fun to go to those dog shows! I missed "Best in Show", darn it. I usually watch the Westminster show every year and that's about the extent of my purebreed exposure. I'd sure love to have a dog. Really been wanting a small dog for the last couple of months, but with 5 cats we can't get one. Dang!
Mary, sounds like you had a pretty nice weekend. Good!
We have a GE washer and dryer and they've been really good. They are just the old fashioned top loader washer and front loader dryer. I don't have room for the big fancy new kind. But the washer gets my clothes really clean, is quiet and I like the extra rinse cycle it offers. Good luck finding ones you want!
GRANNY, I WASN'T FEELING WELL TODAY SO I DIDN'T GO TO JEANNE'S. KEVIN TOOK CARE OF HER ALL BY HIMSELF. SHE CALLED TWICE AFTER HE GOT HOME BUT WE WERE OUTSIDE AND DIDN'T HEAR THE PHONE. SHE WANTED TO KNOW HOW TO NUKE A JIMMY DEAN BREAKFAST SANDWICH! LOL ONCE SHE WANTED TO KNOW HOW I WAS FEELING. I'LL CALL HER TOMORROW. I TAKE HER FOR HER 3 MO CHECKUP THURSDAY.
Hope everyone has a really good week. Anxious to hear from Beth. Have had her on my mind. I think this was going to be a hard week for her.

Katie
Amy, lest I forget...congrats on getting enough projects done to have a booth! Sounds like you are very creative and make an eclectic sort of things. Neat! Sorry you didn't make more money this time. Next time! :)
ReplyDeleteKatie
Beth, so glad to hear you've made so much progress and that your estate sale went so well! You're lucky you have so many good friends to help with the sale! Did you sell any furniture? Good luck Wednesday with the big move. I'm sure your buyers are dying to get into their new beautiful home. It has been an interesting chapter in your life, hasn't it? Now on to NYC! :)
ReplyDeleteKatie
I didn't mean to be a blog hog! Yikes! ;)
ReplyDeleteThinking of Beth and her moving van today...
Somebody post something! LOL
Katie
It has been a very warm day! guess tomorrow will be hotter yet---100. I did get to Laurel today. I'm beginning to think he is still a little depressed.
ReplyDeleteOh, Amy, I checked out your quilts on your blog! They are beautiful. Would love to have you close so I could see them in person. You are a very busy person!
A couple of months & we will be back in school. I am excited to see if I get to work with the new little kindergartener! That's my favorite age to work with, but haven't had the chance for a couple of years. Such a variety, from very immature, to downs syndrome, to autistic, etc..... all sweet & so interesting.
Hope you are getting nearer to the end of the painting little sis! I can tell how tired & sore you are, & that isn't good. Need to get more rest, which I know seems impossible.
Kids are getting ready for the fair around her. my 11 yr. old grand daughter is working with her calf, also has made a pillow, (with great grandma's sewing maching), & wants to scrapbook with her aunt in town. Kids just don't have time to be kids anymore.
time to give my husband a bite to eat! Have a great night.
No pics yet......Mare put down that paint brush for at least one minute. Hope all is going OK. I keep checking on you.
ReplyDeleteHi EVERYBODY............
GOODNIGHT MARY AND KATIE.
ReplyDeleteGRANNY
