Well, we lived to tell! Mr. Mare turned the BIG 6-0 and his sister (his 16 year younger than him sister) insisted he needed a party! Well, she likes to do things up so we were a "BIT" concerned...but as it turned out, it was a laid back small family and friends party...very nice..
Family, friends and good food.
Although nothing really changes because you are "one day older-not one YEAR older", I have to admit to waking up the day after his birthday and I was facing him...my first thought was, "MY GOSH! THERE'S A 60 YEAR OLD MAN IN MY BED!!!" It even surprised me that I had this thought!
It's all good though...I'm glad he's there! LOL
I know some of you have seen these pix, BUT I will share them for those who haven't seen them yet...

CRUMB! The computer just ate my reply to Katie! Thanking you for the kind words, but in person I probably look closer to EIGHTY FIVE! It's been a heck of a couple years (as those of you have gone through it with me know!)

ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing the pictures, the party looked perfect! A 60 year old in the bed...!!!...that was hysterical! I agree with Katie, the picture of you is SO pretty. You are a beauty and we all do know it has been a hard year.
Can't wait to hear what is going on this weekend. I think I will be cleaning my garage!
