Fun Times

NOT!!! It's tax time. I just couldn't think of anything to call this post that wasn't depressing so "fun times" it is.
I do have to say I'm thankful we BOTH have jobs and a warm home and food.
Ok-there's my "cup half full" thought for the day.
Also I will try to get a video at the store today and will repost on the entry below today's so you can all have a little tour-stay tuned.

  3. We went to the tax accountant today and had our taxes done and filed! Yay! They make it look so easy. I usually do our taxes on the computer but we had to consult a CPA this year because we sold Kevin's house that Jeanne lived in. Good news! It's not going to mess up our taxes and we still get money back!

Good luck with your taxes everyone else! And congrats, Beth! :)

  4. I didn't mean to kill all conversation here!

Gloria how are you feeling? I am back on cold meds. I never cough during the day but I cough so bad at night that I have to get up for a while. I do a whole little routine, then after an hour or so I can go back to bed and not cough myself to death. It's a shallow cough. Been a month Monday!

Hope all the rest of you are healthy and happy!

  5. Katie...
Oh dear you are making me nervous with your linging cough. Touch base with your doctor. The previous post I posted that I went back into the hospital. I came home yesterday (2/4/13). I went in on 1/27/13. I had a tough ride heart wise for a while and lung wise for a while. Coordination between the NEW lung doctor and my heart doctor, they got me home breathing much better. I went into a major afi, preventicular contractions of the heart and premature artial contractions which meant my upper chambers of my heart were doing the Irish jig and not letting the blood flow. Lucky my doctor had put me on blood thinner on the previous hospital stay so I would not stroke out. I am home....with increased heart medication but I am breathing or moving air in my lungs much better now. I am very weak and now have a cane that helps me get around so I do not get out of breath. So when you see those Maxine cartoons, think of me, can't hi-lite my hair due to the prednisone so the gray is showing up, the prednisone affects the eyes so I can not see well now and now I got a cane for some dirty old man if he tries to get fresh. My endearing words are....I AM HOME..

    Katie...call your doctor..

    Hugs,
    Gloria
