WE VOTED ALSO AND THRILLED WITH THE OUTCOME ACROSS THE NATION. WE'RE ALSO GLAD ALL THE HATEFUL COMMERCIALS ARE OVER. THE NEWS SAID THIS MORNING THAT THOSE ADDS ACTUALLY GETS PEOPLE OUT TO VOTE. JUST GLAD IT'S OVER. TODAY IT'S SUPPOSE TO GO UP IN THE 80'S AGAIN. I'LL TAKE THE 70'S. I'M JUST GLAD THE LOWER TEMPS ARE ARE HERE. THE 90'S ALL SUMMER CAN TAKE IT'S TOLL ON THE BODY. CALL SOMEONE TODAY AND MAKE THEIR DAY. TAKE THEM OUT FOR LUNCH. YOUR TREAT. LOL
I also proudly wore my "I Voted" sticker yesterday. I am not thrilled with the outcome across the nation, but mostly happy with the outcome in California. I got some of what I wanted in Orange County, and that's the way it goes. I love that Ole is rockin' his sticker!
Me, too. I voted. But we never get any stinking stickers! Waaaaaa! :) Also not happy with the outcome, especially in the Senate. I had to drive back down to our old house to vote across the street. I left my voter registration down there until we have a permanent address again. You should have seen the 2 ballot measures on our ticket!! Sounded like the mob wrote them for the Election Committee. LOL It's hard being a liberal D in a Republican state. LOL
Also, Please let's all join in and express our sympathy for me today. LOL I'm having a colonoscopy tomorrow and I have already had to start drinking that awful stuff you have to drink all day the day before! LOL I don't mind the colonoscopy. It's the junk the day before that I'd rather not have to do. LOL
But getting my hair cut, colored and highlighted in an hour, so YAY!''
Thanks for voting everyone! Especially you, you adorable Ole! Head scritches to Ole!
Good Luck Kathy and good for you! May everything come out fine!!! Ick...
I voted and got my sticker.
I missed all of the Halloween chatter. My brother does have a huge turn out for Halloween. He lives in a fairly small town (for Los Angeles county that is) and many of the houses go all out in his neighborhood. The one year we counted we had 3000 people, of all ages. It is a blast. I love to see how creative the costumes are and how adorable the little ones are. I can't stand anything scary, books, movies, etc. but I love Halloween. I don't like the really gross, horrible masks and costumes but I like the creative ones.
