| 70 is looking good! |
Well,I know this post has an odd title, but I have to tell you it seems odd that my sisters and their hubbies are pushing the BIG 7-0! The first one to celebrate was my sister Mary's hubby of almost 49 years. We have enjoyed not only spending more time with dad and MaryE since we moved back, but also with her hubby. We feel really blessed that we were included in this celebration. He wanted a family celebration and took everyone out for dinner. It was fun to watch him as he made sure the pizza was ordered to everyone's liking and that everyone had drinks and napkins...he was a wonderful host. After dinner, it was on to their house for cake and ice cream. My sweet niece (their oldest daughter) made him a chocolate cake like his mom used to make and it was wonderful and we all laughed as the kitchen filled with smoke from the candles he blew out! HAPPY BIRTHDAY LEON! May you have many many more! Now...On to MY hubby's big SIX-ZERO...doesn't seem possible..will be interesting as this is the guy who freaked out when he turned 20 LOL!

Happy 70th birthday, Leon! It looks like you had a nice celebration with your family. But whew, there was a big fire on top of that cake!!

Spent the weekend in NYC and then on to New Jersey to celebrate a dear friend of mine's 50th birthday. I guess it was a weekend of fun and 'big' birthdays!

We have 3 offers on the house we're trying to sell (the one Kevin kept for his mother)! Wish us luck! We have to sell "as is" and lots of people back off when they find that out. We're offering good incentives for them to buy it anyway. :)
