It was time for a yearly med check so since there Is no doctor in our little town, we drove 20 miles to the next town to the clinic there. After finishing up and having fasted, we treated ourselves to breakfast at a little mom and pop café called Popo's.
After finishing up breakfast, we drove to another town on our way back and picked up a few groceries. It certainly didn't take long to spend 80 dollars.
We had big plans to clean, do laundry and a little yard work as we are to get snow the next couple of days, but so far we have both had a great nap, watched some tv and that's it (I guess I did get a bed stripped to wash the sheets and covers.)
I suppose I should post this and get busy-or maybe not!
Hope you're having a good day!

WOOT WOOT WOOT
ReplyDeleteI GO AGAIN TOMORROW.LAST WEEK THEY COULDN'T GET ANY BLOOD. WE AGREED WE'D TRY AGAIN THIS WEEK. WE'LL SEE HOW THINGS GO.

HUGS, LOU
Ahhh, that time of year again! It seems to be going around...I have my yearly next week. Growing up with a nurse as a mother, it was never a question to skip a dr.s appointment. You just went!
ReplyDeleteLove the pics of Mike!
Hugs, Beth
Talking about blood Lou...they can't get yours and they are trying to figure out what is going on with mine. In the last 3 weeks, I have had to go for blood work. I am so tired of all of this. Simply tired!!! Now it is anemia, so they checked for infection and now they are doing a Complete Blood Count...why didn't they do that in the first place. The only problem I have about having the blood drawn is that it takes forever to get my blood to stop flowing since I am taking the blasted blood thinner.
ReplyDeleteHope they get your blood Lou...if not, you can have some of mine.
Actually, I am tired of going to the doctors. I am tired of all this medical stuff. If the jerk doctor had done what he should of done back in November, I would not be so frustrated with this ordeal.
I think I need Spring to come!!!
Take care,
Gloria
GLORIA,

THE ARM I DON'T MIND BUT THE BACK OF THE HAND IS A [FILL IN THE BLANK] THIS NURSE SEEMS TO BE THE ONLY ONE THAT CAN GET IT. PLUS, SHE'S VERY SWEET. SHE SAID THERE'S JUST TO MUCH SCAR TISSUE IN MY ARMS. IT MUST BE ALL THE YEARS OF GOING TO THE DOCTORS AND DRAWING BLOOD. BOO HISS.I JUST HOPE THE TEST COME BACK OK. OLD AGE IS NOT FOR SISSIES.
